Bishop's Biz

I am starting this blog with the birth of my son Gavin. He was born August 1st, 2008 at 7:58p.m., he weighed 7lbs. 6oz., and was 20 in. long. Daddy (K.J.) almost didn't make it to the birth, and we'd planned to have my mom and dad come up 2 days after my due date (hoping that I would have given birth), but I ended up giving birth the evening they showed up. It was perfect, because they were able to bring the kids up for us. Kisha is now 12, Tristan is 11, Kermie is 4, and Kyler is 15 1/2 months old. Everyone enjoyed seeing the new addition to our family. Kermie cried on the way out, cuz mom and dad stayed at the hospital over night. Gavin slept through the night that first night and didn't want to wake up the next morning to eat either, but is more than making up for it by wanting to eat all night long the past two nights. So I'm praying for my milk to come in very VERY soon!

The next morning Gavin was still sleeping. Oh, and you can see that he has some dark brown hair (my first baby born with hair).

Daddy snapped a shot of Gavin as Mommy was getting him ready to take home.

He was eager to try to eat.

Daddy never likes to get his picture taken, so it'll be a rare event when you see a pic of KJ.

All of the kids were excited to hold baby Gavin.
