I've decided to become a Raw Foodist
I've finally found a title that describes the way of eating that I want to follow called Raw Foodist. Before I was calling myself a Raw Vegan, but I'm not going to make sure my shoes aren't made of leather, and I'm not going to throw away my leather coat, or anything else that goes along with being a Vegan. Yeah sure, I care about animals, but I also believe in the Bible and in it says that animals are made for the use of man in the season thereof.
Why am I bringing this up? Because I've also found a wonderful website and blogger that is located right here in Utah. Her website is www.greensmoothiegirl.com. I found out that she is holding a contest. If you win the contest she will put you on the Internet Pilot of her Green Smoothie Girl Makeover TV. She will also give you free her 12 Steps to Whole Foods Complete Course, and a free BlendTec Total Blender. I have wanted one of these blenders for YEARS! So the next couple of posts are my submissions to her contest.

I've fallen prey to TEXTING!
It is true. KJ and I got new iPhones as early birthday presents to each other, and KJ's work has been making him text quite a bit so we went ahead and got an unlimited texting plan.
If you're wondering why there isn't one of Tristan it's because he was away on a scouting trip.
I've found some scrapbooking apps on the iphone and have created some pages with it. I've just emailed them to myself and now we'll see how they look on the blog.

Busy, BUSY Week!
To start the week off KJ was asked to go fill in at work for someone in Denver, CO. He left Monday morning and got back Saturday afternoon. I'd been asked to fill in on my mail route. I was scheduled to work Monday - Saturday. I worked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and on Wednesday evening Gavin woke me up about 11:30 pm rocking in his bed. He's always rocked somewhat, but not usually in the middle of the night unless he's sick. So I got up to find out why he was rocking and to encourage him to go back to sleep. It ends up he threw up all over his bed. I brought him back to bed with me after cleaning everything up. He pretty much kept me up all night. I obviously had to take off work, which meant I had to call my boss as soon as I knew I wouldn't be coming in so he could find a replacement. Gavin was active and hungry by the morning. But then Kyler took his turn at being sick. No one was sick Friday night, but then Kermit threw up all evening Saturday. I sure am exited for daddy (KJ) to be home this week and hopefully no more sickness.

I BROKE MY PHONE :(
I've been working all this week as a mailwoman. I take with me everyday a frozen bottle of water so it thaws as I deliver and I can have a nice cold drink. Well, I'd thrown it in my purse and it was resting on mycell phone. Everyone knows that water and cell phones don't mix. It was showing signs that it was damaged and possibly broken. I'd recently seen on one of my new favorite shows, "The Nate Burkas Show" that you can throw your cell phone with battery out into a bag of rice and the rice will soak up any water from the cell phone and battery. Long story short rice got stuck in the phone since it's a sliding phone and what I thought I was prying out was more rice was actually part of the phone that was necessary for it to work. Ooops, it's now a paper weight. One good thing is we own a matcing phone that I'm able to throw my sim card into, but I don't store the phone numbers on the sim card. They're stored on the phone and now they're lost. I also lost the only pic of Kyler of him on his first day of preschool.
